Senior Client Manager – Assistant Vice President, Corporate Banking (GNB)

About the role

This position is part of Citigroup's Corporate Banking Global Network Banking (GNB) division. The Senior Client Manager acts as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, overseeing onboarding, service coordination, credit management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with client representatives and support subsidiary, regional and parent account managers in origination activities.
• Identify and originate low‑complexity opportunities, contribute to business campaigns, and support new client acquisition.
• Manage credit requests, monitor credit lines and escalate exceptions in collaboration with internal teams.
• Own the end‑to‑end client onboarding experience, from CRM initiation to post‑implementation follow‑up and client training.
• Serve as the primary contact for client escalations, operational flows and feedback tracking.
• Act as the designated KYC owner for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate profiles and compliance with KYC/AML regulations.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of client management or related experience in financial services.
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of operational processes.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on high‑quality client service.
