Senior Associate - Operations (Finance)

About the role

WNS Global Services, a global Business Process Management provider with a presence in Sri Lanka since 2004, is hiring a Senior Associate for its Operations function in Colombo. The role covers general ledger accounting, reconciliations, cash management and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standard, accrual, prepayment and recharge journals
• Prepare standard inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations
• Clear inter-company differences and clearing account balances
• Update the fixed asset register and process depreciation and amortization entries
• Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash management processes
• Maintain expected quality and service levels and keep good working relationships with onshore peers
• Identify process improvements, propose changes to management and eliminate non-value-adding activities

Required profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting and related processes in a reputable organization
• Partially qualified CIMA, ICA, ACCA, CMA or AAT
• Ability to interpret information and identify likely causes behind it

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• SAP experience is an added advantage
