Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI & LLMs

About the role

EY GDS is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of cutting‑edge generative AI solutions. You will work with large language models, advanced machine‑learning techniques, and cloud‑based AI services to solve complex enterprise challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement state‑of‑the‑art AI solutions, focusing on LLMs and generative AI.
• Develop end‑to‑end pipelines for data processing, model training, and deployment using MLOps best practices.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI, GPT models, Hugging Face Transformers, and other APIs to enhance capabilities.
• Utilize vector databases (e.g., Redis) and NoSQL stores for large‑scale dataset handling and similarity search.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI project goals and evaluate business opportunities.
• Research and apply advanced techniques such as transfer learning, domain adaptation, and model compression.
• Establish evaluation metrics to assess output quality, relevance, and ethical compliance.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI solution architecture.
• Proven expertise in NLP, generative AI, and large language models.
• Strong background in data engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices.
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams to deliver enterprise‑grade AI products.
