Senior Administrator – Security Analysis, SIEM

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Administrator to lead security analysis using SIEM platforms. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and mitigating threats while ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events with SIEM tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, and QRadar.
• Provide advanced technical support for escalated incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.
• Lead knowledge‑management initiatives, update documentation, develop best practices, and deliver training for new team members.
• Coach and mentor security analysts to foster continuous improvement and high performance.
• Resolve complex support tickets within defined SLAs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to minimize business risk.
• Drive customer satisfaction through high first‑call resolution rates and proactive threat mitigation.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in security projects aligned with operational excellence.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in security operations and incident management.
• Advanced proficiency in security event analysis and hands‑on experience with major SIEM tools.
• Strong technical acumen for implementing security solutions and troubleshooting complex incidents.
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms for automating security workflows.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
