Security Operations Consultant

About the role

As a Security Operations Consultant you will act as the primary bridge between clients and Brennan’s Security Engineering teams. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions that improve the security posture of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client advisory and relationship management, conducting workshops, maturity assessments, and roadmap sessions.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear business insights and actionable recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
• Advise on operational best practices across Endpoint, Email, Identity, and SIEM/SOAR services, aligning with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and the Essential 8.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to implement customer requirements and continuously improve security controls.
• Develop and present uplift plans, service improvement recommendations, and security health reports.
• Support incident response coordination and communicate incident summaries and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work consultatively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in translating security concepts into business value.
• Proactive attitude toward client education on emerging threats and mitigation strategies.
