Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding (Multiple Levels)

About the role

We are seeking dynamic Sales Executives to join a leading freight forwarding company in Colombo. The role is available at senior, standard and junior levels, offering the chance to develop client relationships and drive business growth in the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in the freight and logistics market.
• Maintain and expand existing client relationships, providing tailored solutions.
• Prepare and manage documentation, Incoterms and shipping paperwork.
• Conduct market research and develop sales strategies for target segments.
• Track leads, pipelines and sales performance using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping, depending on the level applied for.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
• High integrity and commitment to inclusive business practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using basic CRM systems for lead and pipeline management.
