Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to lead our front‑of‑house operations. This management position requires a proactive leader who can organise working hours around business needs and be present during peak service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Train, motivate and manage the front‑of‑house team.
• Oversee reservations, table flow and busy service periods.
• Handle POS systems, cash handling, billing and daily restaurant reporting.
• Maintain stock control, beverage inventory and operational controls.
• Manage staff rosters, attendance and performance.
• Address guest complaints professionally and confidently.
• Ensure service standards and SOPs are consistently followed.
• Identify and resolve operational issues independently.
• Collaborate closely with ownership, kitchen and bar teams.
• Take responsibility for the restaurant when ownership is not present.

Required profile

• Previous experience in restaurant, hotel or hospitality management, preferably in a quality restaurant environment.
• Fluent English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, personable and comfortable with both local and international guests.
• Genuine interest in food, beverage and hospitality.
• Understanding that great restaurant management balances hospitality and operations.
• Strong leadership, highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Proactive mindset and maturity to act in the owner’s absence.
