Recruitment Consultant – UK Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our Sri Lankan team supporting MedMatch / ProfDoc Healthcare, a UK‑based specialist in permanent healthcare recruitment. This position focuses on the candidate side of commercial recruitment, sourcing, qualifying and placing professionals into live UK vacancies.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via database, LinkedIn, job boards, advertisements, referrals and targeted outreach.
• Conduct outbound calls and detailed qualification interviews.
• Understand candidate motivations, career goals, availability and requirements.
• Match suitable candidates to live UK vacancies and manage multiple pipelines.
• Write and manage recruitment advertisements.
• Maintain accurate candidate information in the recruitment CRM.
• Guide candidates through interview and placement processes.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced UK Recruitment Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a commercial recruitment agency or RPO, recruiting on behalf of clients.
• Strong candidate sourcing and qualification abilities.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn, job boards, databases and referral networks.
• Comfortable in a phone‑heavy, outbound recruitment environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English for communication with UK professionals.
• Ability to manage several vacancies simultaneously.
