Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our solid tyre manufacturing quality program. The role will drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System across all production stages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Establish and monitor quality standards for raw materials, processes and finished solid tyres.
• Lead in‑process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Identify quality issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Track production quality KPIs, rejection rates, customer complaints and improvement targets.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Engineering, Stores and Procurement to resolve quality‑related problems.
• Develop inspection plans, SOPs and testing standards; ensure adherence to industry and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal audits and support external/customer audits.
• Manage and develop the Quality Assurance & Quality Control team.
• Promote continuous improvement, waste reduction and defect prevention initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Polymer/Rubber Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in tyre, rubber, polymer or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, CAPA, RCA and the 7 QC Tools.
• Familiarity with rubber/solid tyre manufacturing processes and quality testing is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, leadership and communication abilities.
