Purchasing Executive

About the role

GPV Lanka (Private) Ltd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join its team in Kochchikade, Sri Lanka, supporting the supply of materials for its electronics manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of required materials to meet customer and business requirements.
• Manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs) and new buys.
• Execute raw material expediting, pull, push and cancellation actions.
• Resolve goods receipt, quality, NCR and invoice/PO matching issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Supply Chain KPIs and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing & Materials Management or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Electronics Engineering exposure is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong data analytical skills.
• Knowledge of procurement practices and policy compliance.
• ERP experience with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Purchasing and/or commodity analytics experience preferred.
