Principal Talent Partner (Recruiter) – Contract

About the role

LaunchWell Group is seeking a Principal Talent Partner to work on a fractional, independent‑contract basis. You will embed with fast‑growing, venture‑backed or private‑equity‑backed organizations, guiding them through full‑cycle recruiting and building scalable talent infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with client leadership and hiring managers to design and execute strategic hiring initiatives.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruiting across multiple functions and seniority levels, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Implement LaunchWell’s recruiting methodology, including structured interviews, interview training, scorecards, and ATS utilization.
• Identify and recommend improvements to talent operations, hiring processes, and overall talent infrastructure.
• Provide market insight, talent mapping, candidate evaluation, and hiring guidance throughout the search.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition for growth‑stage, VC‑ or PE‑backed companies.
• Ability to work 10–40 hours per week on a flexible, remote basis.
• Strong advisory skills with a focus on aligning hiring strategy to business objectives.
• Excellent communication and capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
