Presales Engineer – Industrial

About the role

Assidua Technologies, a leading power solutions provider in Sri Lanka, is looking for a Presales Engineer – Industrial to join its Colombo team. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on engaging industrial customers, understanding their power requirements and supporting the sales process with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with prospective and existing industrial clients to gather power solution requirements.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, product demonstrations and solution designs.
• Conduct site assessments and configure system specifications for UPS, inverters, stabilizers, isolation transformers and batteries.
• Collaborate with engineering, implementation and support teams to ensure seamless handover from presales to post‑sales.
• Respond to technical queries, support tender and bid preparation, and assist customers in product selection.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in industrial power systems such as UPS, inverters, stabilizers, transformers and batteries.
• Strong presales and solution‑consulting skills, with ability to analyse customer requirements and develop proposals.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of working collaboratively with sales and engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work effectively in an on‑site, customer‑facing environment.
