People & Culture Business Partnering Lead

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partnering Lead will head the Business Partnering function for Superloop Sri Lanka, shaping people strategies that drive growth, organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. Reporting to the People & Culture leadership team, this senior advisor will work closely with business leaders to align talent initiatives with commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Business Partnering function, setting standards, priorities and service delivery expectations across all business units.
• Coach, mentor and develop Business Partners and other People & Culture team members.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with functional leaders and senior leadership teams.
• Drive a commercially focused, insight‑led and data‑informed partnering approach.
• Partner directly with assigned business leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent management.
• Support leaders in creating high‑performing, engaged and inclusive teams.
• Use people data and workforce insights to influence decision‑making and drive performance excellence.
• Oversee employee relations, leadership development, change initiatives and other people‑focused programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR Business Partnering or People & Culture functions in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong advisory capability with senior leaders, influencing strategic workforce decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop HR professionals.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using people analytics to inform strategy.
