National Sales Manager – Industry & Building (Sri Lanka & Maldives)

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic National Sales Manager to lead business growth for Industry and Building & Infrastructure services across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. This senior position requires a strong mechanical engineering background and a proven track record in sales, business development, and key‑account management within industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development activities and achieve annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute market penetration strategies for sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Water.
• Identify new customers, strategic accounts, and emerging opportunities, promoting certification, inspection, testing, audit, training, and assurance services.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, project owners, government agencies, and other industry stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and tender opportunities to ensure competitive positioning.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective engagement and commercial support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in business development, sales, or key‑account management within industrial sectors.
• Proven experience leading a national sales operation, with a strong network in Sri Lanka’s industrial, energy, infrastructure, or construction markets.
• Understanding of Industry Services/TIC environments (inspection, certification, QA/QC, asset integrity).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop strategic market plans.
• Self‑driven and capable of leading business growth independently.
