Machine Operator – Beverage Production

About the role

LANSCAPE LIMITED is seeking a full‑time Machine Operator for its beverage production line in Colombo. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring machinery to ensure consistent, high‑quality output while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and adjust beverage production machines according to specifications.
• Load raw materials, operate equipment and monitor performance throughout each shift.
• Perform basic maintenance and routine checks on machinery.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Record production data, downtime and any issues, and report them to supervisors.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth workflow and a clean work area.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to operate and monitor beverage production machinery.
• Experience in quality control and product inspection is advantageous.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools for adjustments and minor repairs.
• Effective communication skills for clear reporting of production or safety concerns.
• Understanding of workplace safety principles and willingness to follow guidelines.
• Basic numerical and record‑keeping abilities.
• Secondary education or vocational training in mechanical, technical or related fields is beneficial.
