Lecturer – QuickBooks & Accounting Software

About the role

Achievers Lanka Business School is seeking a full‑time Lecturer to deliver high‑quality instruction on QuickBooks and related accounting software. The position is based on campus in Colombo and focuses on preparing students for professional examinations and corporate careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and exam‑focused sessions on QuickBooks and accounting software.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
• Update content to reflect current industry standards and professional requirements.
• Mentor and support students, monitor performance through assignments and tests, and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in academic meetings, contribute to program improvement and support extra‑curricular initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in QuickBooks and accounting software.
• Proven teaching, lecturing or training experience with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills.
• Analytical, organized and detail‑oriented with a commitment to academic quality.
