Junior Executive: Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Junior Executive – Sales & Business Development will work on‑site in Moratuwa, focusing on expanding Lakru Packaging Industries’ customer base in the kraft paper and flexible packaging market. You will generate leads, support sales activities and help maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers, manage accounts and prepare quotations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in market research, participate in client meetings and prepare sales reports.

Required profile

• Proven ability in new business development, lead generation and account management.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in sales, packaging or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Moratuwa with good organization and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheet handling.
