Junior Content Capture Analyst - Web Scraping

About the role

CUBE, a global RegTech company providing AI-powered regulatory intelligence for financial institutions, is hiring a Junior Content Capture Analyst for its Content Capture Delivery team in Colombo. The role sits at the heart of sourcing and structuring regulatory data, developing and maintaining web scraping solutions that extract structured information from HTML-based websites at scale. It is a hands-on technical position working alongside experienced analysts, engineers and QA specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot web scraping solutions to extract structured data from HTML-based websites, including dynamic, multilingual and access-restricted sites
• Resolve technical challenges such as geo-blocking, Cloudflare restrictions, CAPTCHA interruptions and caching issues
• Build and improve C#/.NET tools for automated data extraction, source-link monitoring and validation
• Contribute to caching algorithm improvements and performance optimisation, and use AI-assisted tools to reduce manual effort
• Ensure data accuracy and quality, manage tasks independently and document code changes, approaches and test results
• Take part in daily stand-ups, work with Senior Analysts, QA and Engineering teams, and keep Jira and RM task boards up to date

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience; internships and academic projects are welcome
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and good task-management skills
• Nice to have: experience with dynamic, multilingual or restricted websites, exposure to Jira, Power BI or similar tools, and a background in FinTech, BPO/BPM, IT Services, SaaS or digital content

Required skills

• HTML, CSS and web structures
• C# and/or .NET programming; JavaScript is a plus
• Web scraping and data extraction concepts
• Nice to have: debugging, performance optimisation, and Jira or Power BI
