Inventory Planning Manager

About the role

The Inventory Planning Manager will lead the automotive spare‑parts inventory planning and replenishment function for the Material Management unit of our Parts Distribution Centre. This role ensures optimal parts availability for after‑sales service while controlling inventory costs and coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inventory replenishment and demand planning for PDC warehouses and workshops using SAP, Syncron, forecasts and demand data.
• Optimize inventory levels by analysing stock in‑transit, supplier lead times and replenishment methods.
• Review, justify and manage local purchase requirements.
• Ensure parts readiness for new model launches.
• Drive branch stock reduction initiatives while maintaining service levels.
• Conduct demand planning aligned with sales forecasts and supplier capacities.
• Coordinate regular reviews with branches, business divisions, OEM suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate KPI dashboards and management reports for periodic reviews.
• Lead, coach and develop the inventory and material‑management team to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in inventory planning or supply‑chain operations, preferably in automotive spare‑parts.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Professional qualification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Syncron systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to Power BI and basic data‑analytics tools.
