HR & Operations Director – Healthcare BPO

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR & Operations Director to lead the full employee lifecycle for a fast‑growing healthcare BPO and revenue cycle management organization in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for shaping HR strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving employee engagement across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end employee lifecycle: onboarding, off‑boarding, leave, attendance and workforce compliance.
• Coordinate payroll processes, salary reviews, bonuses, gratuity payments and conduct payroll audits.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, DEI initiatives and retention strategies.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Design, maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Lead internal and external HR audit activities and ensure audit readiness.
• Create and maintain HR dashboards, workforce analytics and operational reports for leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives and mentor HR teams across locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in senior HR leadership or operations.
• Proven experience managing full employee lifecycle, payroll administration and HR governance.
• Experience in healthcare BPO, shared services or revenue cycle management is an advantage.
