HR Intern

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to support our recruitment and internal communication functions. The role will give you hands‑on experience in talent attraction, employer branding and employee engagement within a fast‑moving office in Battaramulla.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with candidate sourcing, screening coordination, interview scheduling and follow‑ups.
• Maintain candidate information and recruitment status in the HR system.
• Support employer branding and talent attraction campaigns on LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Coordinate social‑media publishing according to the company content calendar.
• Create basic social‑media, recruitment and internal communication content using Canva and AI tools.
• Help with internal communications, employee‑engagement activities, company events and onboarding announcements.
• Participate in university outreach, career fairs and other talent‑sourcing initiatives.
• Contribute to recruitment reporting and day‑to‑day HR and communication tasks.

Required profile

• Graduate or undergraduate in HR, Business Management or any discipline interested in an HR career.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and attention to detail.
• Team‑player who can adapt to change‑management initiatives.
