Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in guest rooms and public areas at Amangalla, a historic luxury hotel in Galle Fort. You will create a comfortable, welcoming environment for guests while upholding Aman’s quality and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest‑room cleaning services that meet Aman standards.
• Maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation.
• Greet guests warmly, respond promptly to requests, and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Report lost‑and‑found items, maintenance issues, safety hazards and health concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Support housekeeping operations during peak periods and ensure all areas remain organized and well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and housekeeping standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
