About the role

Join the historic Amangalla hotel in Galle Fort as a Food & Beverage Hostess. You will be the first point of contact for guests in the restaurant, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the ultra‑luxury standards of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly, managing reservations and seating charts efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus and introduce their dedicated server.
• Answer phone calls, handle reservation inquiries and special event requests with professionalism.
• Coordinate closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth, well‑paced guest flow.
• Address guest feedback or concerns immediately, escalating to management when necessary.
• Bid farewell to departing guests, leaving a lasting positive impression.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or similar front‑of‑house role in a premium restaurant or luxury hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent hospitality certification.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Warm, engaging personality with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Impeccable grooming and presentation standards aligned with luxury hospitality.
