Engineering Technician – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

TBS International is seeking motivated Engineering Technicians to join its Engineering Department. You will play a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant machinery and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and technical faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and documentation of equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and support rapid restoration of operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow company safety procedures.
• Assist the engineering team with improvement and maintenance projects.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3/4 or craft certificate in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
• Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work shifts when required and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
