Engineering Systems Specialist

About the role

The Engineering Systems Specialist will coordinate administrative tasks for the engineering department at Haleon's SC Mt. Lavinia plant, ensuring smooth workflow and supporting the delivery of better everyday health products.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering presentations and track engineering KPIs.
• Compile, validate and upload sustainability and energy data to EHS One and maintain the Energy KPI portal.
• Act as site representative for global sustainability audits, managing evidence and coordination.
• Perform commercial evaluations, including offer comparisons, fair market value analysis, IRR and NPV calculations.
• Coordinate with Finance and Procurement on payments, invoices and purchase orders; obtain quotations and raise POs in Ariba.
• Maintain engineering service agreements, drawing registers, manuals and SOPs with proper version control.
• Manage third‑party risk assessments, vendor registration and engineering drawing registers.
• Oversee CMMS activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of VQD and EHS One actions.
• Conduct self‑inspection audits, ZAP reporting and annual spares audits, escalating deviations as needed.
• Support building maintenance documentation and coordinate engineering‑related documentation tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher diploma in engineering or a science‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years industrial experience in a similar capacity, preferably within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using the Ariba procurement system.
• Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance tracking.
• Knowledge of EHS One and VQD quality documentation platforms.
• Ability to compile, validate and upload energy and sustainability data.
