Chef – Italian Cuisine

About the role

Smeralda Properties is seeking an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen of its boutique Italian restaurant in Dikwella. You will be responsible for creating authentic Italian dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and present Italian specialties such as pasta, pizza, and traditional regional dishes.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, coordinate food preparation, and ensure smooth service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Monitor inventory, control costs, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the hospitality team on menu development, seasonal specials, and guest feedback.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Italian cuisine, preferably in boutique hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Culinary training or certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Strong commitment to food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
