Chef de Partie (Hot Kitchen) – Live‑In at Chairman’s Bungalow

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Chef de Partie (Hot Kitchen) to serve as a dedicated personal chef at the Chairman’s Bungalow in Pussellawa. The position combines daily meal preparation for the Chairman and guests with high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and inventory management across Sri Lankan, Western and Indian cuisines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for the Chairman, guests and small private gatherings, including Sri Lankan, Western, Indian dishes and pastries.
• Plan menus according to preferences, dietary requirements and special occasions.
• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation and strict food‑safety standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory, sourcing, grocery lists and stock levels.
• Coordinate with bungalow staff for meal timing and guest arrangements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a hot‑kitchen environment.
• Proven experience in a private household, boutique hotel or fine‑dining establishment.
• Flexibility to work according to household requirements, including live‑in duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Sri Lankan, Western and Indian culinary traditions.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling.
• Kitchen inventory and stock management.
