About the role

Join Anantara Kalutara Resort as a Chef de Partie specializing in Asian cuisine, focusing on authentic Chinese and Thai dishes. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality dining experiences while upholding the resort’s renowned standards of hospitality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present authentic Chinese and Thai menu items with consistency and visual appeal.
• Supervise the assigned kitchen section, ensuring hygiene, food‑quality standards, and compliance with hotel and safety regulations.
• Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and innovation for Asian cuisine.
• Monitor and control food costs, maintaining budgetary targets.
• Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to achieve excellence in preparation and service.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hotel or resort kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese and Thai culinary techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to lead a team, maintain high standards, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
