Business Development Specialist (Jaffna)

About the role

The Business Development Specialist – Jaffna is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on driving growth and expanding Bohar Solutions’ presence in the region. You will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and develop strategies to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and prospect leads.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Develop and execute lead‑generation strategies to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients, present FinTech solutions, and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements and prepare proposals.
• Provide regular reporting on performance, market trends, and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting solutions and building relationships.
• Proven lead‑generation and market‑research experience.
• Relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in technology or FinTech.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple opportunities.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
