BIM Modeller & Draughtsman (Full‑time, Kandy)

About the role

CiviLanka Consultancy is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller / Draughtsman to join its multidisciplinary team in Kandy. The role involves creating accurate architectural, structural, civil and MEP drawings while developing and maintaining BIM models for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise architectural, structural, civil and MEP drawings.
• Develop and update BIM models using Revit and related platforms.
• Produce construction, shop, section, detail, schedule and coordination drawings.
• Convert design concepts, sketches and mark‑ups into clear technical drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers and project teams.
• Maintain drawing quality, annotation standards, layers, dimensions and documentation accuracy.
• Support project submissions, revisions and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in drafting or BIM modelling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of construction detailing and drawing coordination.
• Experience in residential, commercial or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
