Associate Technical Lead

About the role

Cut+Dry is a fast‑growing FoodTech startup that connects food producers, distributors and commercial buyers through a unified platform. We are looking for an Associate Technical Lead who can design high‑quality software, mentor junior engineers and help shape our technology stack as we scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver software components that meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Coach, mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the development team.
• Ensure software quality through extensive unit, component and end‑to‑end testing.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help select appropriate technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4‑5 years of experience building enterprise‑grade applications.
• Strong ability to design complex software systems and communicate decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment.
