Associate Quality Engineering Lead

About the role

The Associate Quality Engineering Lead will drive the automation strategy for web, mobile, and service‑level testing, ensuring high‑quality releases across the product portfolio. This senior position combines technical leadership with mentorship, fostering best‑in‑class automation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead automation strategy across web, mobile, and service‑level testing.
• Architect and continuously improve scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Jenkins) and enhance execution reliability.
• Mentor quality engineers, raising automation engineering standards.
• Drive AI‑assisted testing workflows to accelerate test creation and broaden coverage.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Release teams to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Assist in developing internal software tools and engineering solutions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering with leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and solid experience with Java.
• Extensive experience with web and mobile automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices.
• Proven problem‑solving, communication, and technical leadership abilities.
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience with AI‑assisted QE tools/workflows is a strong advantage.
• ISTQB Advanced or equivalent certification is preferred.
