Associate Full Stack Engineer (Java + React)

About the role

iLabs is seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer to join its hybrid team in Battaramulla. You will work on Java and React based solutions for global clients, collaborating across time zones and leveraging AI‑powered development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and React, including backend services and APIs.
• Implement microservices‑based architectures, ensure code quality through testing, code reviews and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications across the entire technology stack.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve productivity, code quality and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication for collaboration with global teams.
