Project Manager

About the role

iLabs is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver software projects from initiation to completion. You will work on‑site in Battaramulla, coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, high‑quality outcomes for our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver projects, maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, QA and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Track progress, identify delays, dependencies, bottlenecks and risks, and take proactive corrective actions.
• Conduct regular project meetings, maintain action items, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as status reports, risk registers, and dashboards.
• Manage scope changes, evaluate and prioritize them, and communicate updates.
• Support feature prioritization in collaboration with Product and Business teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and team productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Project Management, Product Management, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, timelines, dependencies, and delivery processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Git version‑control projects.
• Sound knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
