Assistant Quantity Surveyor Civil (On Site)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports the preparation, review and updating of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and assists in cost planning throughout project lifecycles. The role works closely with project managers, site engineers and contractors to ensure accurate cost control and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil projects.
• Assist in cost planning, budgeting and monitoring of project costs.
• Support valuation of work completed and prepare periodic cost reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and contractors to verify quantities and track variations.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and ensure accurate project documentation.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in quantity surveying with BOQ preparation, measurement and verification skills.
• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction contracts, standards and industry practices.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial construction projects is an advantage.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with willingness to work on‑site.
