Senior People & Culture Associate – UNICEF – Colombo

About the role

The Multi‑Country Office for Sri Lanka and Maldives is seeking a Senior People & Culture Associate to support the delivery of high‑quality HR services. Based in Colombo, the incumbent will report to the MCO Representative and work closely with the HR Associate in Male, Maldives, as well as the Regional Office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative, procedural and operational support across the full spectrum of HR functions.
• Ensure efficient implementation of HR processes and business‑partnering activities for all staff categories.
• Support talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, learning and development, and recruitment initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with UNICEF policies, procedures and HR regulations.
• Collaborate with the HR Associate in Maldives and regional teams to deliver consistent HR services.

• Strong HR and administrative experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
