Assistant Director – Internal Transformation Services

About the role

EY’s Internal Transformation Services (ITS) is expanding its Sri Lanka capability and seeks an experienced transformation leader to act as a trusted adviser and accountable executor. As an Assistant Director (Manager level), you will shape enterprise‑wide transformation agendas, lead multi‑workstream programmes and influence senior stakeholders across countries and functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Leadership, Partners and Functional Heads to define strategic priorities and shape transformation agendas.
• Lead go‑to‑market strategy and execution, including market insight, proposition development, service launch planning and performance measurement.
• Design target operating models covering capabilities, governance, decision rights, technology enablement and implementation road‑maps.
• Drive organisational change management across complex programmes, covering stakeholder strategy, communication, learning and cultural change.
• Translate strategic choices into business cases, road‑maps, investment priorities and value‑realisation metrics.
• Oversee global, cross‑functional programmes, ensuring clear accountability, governance, risk management and quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong business transformation and management‑consulting mindset, able to connect strategy, operating model, people and technology.
• Proven experience influencing C‑suite, Partners and senior functional leaders in complex matrix organisations.
• Leadership of multi‑workstream global programmes with governance, risk and value‑delivery focus.
• Excellent executive communication, storytelling and facilitation skills.
• Confidence leading geographically distributed teams and working across cultures and time zones.
• Awareness of AI, automation, analytics and digital capabilities as transformation enablers.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint for executive‑level presentations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for performance reporting and analysis.
• Design Thinking / Human‑Centred Design methodology experience.
