Data QA Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data QA Lead to oversee quality assurance across data projects, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. The role involves leading testing activities, collaborating with data engineers and analysts, and driving continuous quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for data projects and enhancements.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
• Perform manual and automated testing of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity using strong SQL skills.
• Identify defects, conduct root‑cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Drive test automation and continuous quality improvements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proven ability to create and execute test cases and test plans.
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
• Hands‑on exposure to Snowflake, Azure Data Services, Apache Spark, Power BI, or similar tools.
