Senior Quality Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with full‑stack testing expertise to drive quality across complex product workflows. The role combines hands‑on manual testing, risk‑based test design, and end‑to‑end automation for UI, API and performance validation.

Key responsibilities

• Design risk‑based test scenarios, boundary matrices and edge‑case suites for complex product workflows.
• Execute functional, exploratory and regression testing before features move to automation.
• Conduct defect root‑cause analysis and actively contribute to defect triage sessions.
• Build and maintain scalable UI automation using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Create API automated test suites with C#/.NET, Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Run baseline performance and load tests using k6 or JMeter.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test design and script creation.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data against frontend reports and export formats.
• Plan and execute cross‑squad System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate shared interfaces and APIs.

Required profile

• 4+ years of QA experience with a balance of manual testing and test automation.
• Hands‑on UI and API automation experience with coding proficiency in C#/.NET, Java, TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficiency in REST/GraphQL API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman.
• Strong SQL and data‑testing skills for relational databases.
• Practical experience with Git and CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with Jira‑based test management tools (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Experience executing end‑to‑end SIT cycles across squad boundaries.
