Aftersales Service Engineer – HVAC Technical Support

About the role

Abans PLC is seeking an Aftersales Service Engineer to deliver on‑site HVAC technical support for its extensive client base across Sri Lanka. The role involves regular client visits, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring high‑quality after‑sales service for a range of consumer durables.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular client visits and provide HVAC technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians and internal teams to resolve client requirements and service issues.
• Monitor HVAC systems, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain client communication and prepare detailed service/technical reports.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent client requirements and follow up on after‑sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all service activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on HVAC experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience in after‑sales service, field engineering or a similar role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Sri Lanka and provide 24/7 support when required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
