Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the LCH Securities Technology team at LSEG. You will design, build and evolve the tooling, automation and infrastructure that underpin our software development lifecycle, helping to deliver fast, secure and reliable solutions for capital markets technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve DevOps tooling and SDLC platforms for engineering and testing teams.
• Develop integrations and automation that streamline development, quality assurance and operational workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions to improve deployment speed and consistency.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, improve processes and enhance platform capabilities.
• Strengthen observability through monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerting.
• Champion automation, consistency and resilience to improve platform reliability.
• Contribute to solution design and delivery from concept through deployment.
• Explore emerging tools and technologies to boost developer productivity and operational performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Expertise in CI/CD systems, automation frameworks and configuration management.
• Hands‑on experience building Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, preferably with Terraform or Ansible‑like tools.
• Strong programming and scripting skills, especially in Python.
• Experience supporting engineering teams and delivering scalable internal platforms.
• Knowledge of Java or C++ is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
