Head of Information Technology – Lead ICT Strategy

About the role

The institution seeks an experienced Head of Information Technology to define and execute the ICT strategy, oversee operations, and drive digital transformation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an IT strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead all digitalisation projects initiated by the institute.
• Ensure smooth operations of all ICT-related aspects.
• Manage functional budget planning and control, including project proposal evaluations.
• Ensure security, availability, and accountability of ICT services and data.
• Prepare departmental KPIs and align annual budgets while achieving targets.
• Mentor and motivate the ICT team to deliver innovative solutions.
• Establish necessary structures to deliver functional objectives.

Required profile

• BSc in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering; MSc or MBA preferred.
• Over 10 years of IT industry experience, with at least 7 years leading a medium-sized IT team.
• Hands‑on experience managing data centres, cloud and virtual infrastructure, and network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with digitalisation projects is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, critical thinking, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
