Video Director

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Director to lead the full lifecycle of video projects for our clients in the FMCG, food and hospitality sectors. Based in Colombo, you will work on‑site with our multidisciplinary team to turn concepts into compelling visual stories that drive brand performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, storyboards and visual direction for commercials, social media content and branded campaigns.
• Direct shoots, guide talent and crew, and ensure on‑set execution aligns with brand guidelines.
• Oversee all production phases from pre‑production planning to final delivery, managing schedules and resources.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, styling and post‑production teams to maintain visual consistency.
• Review edits, provide feedback to editors and ensure the final video meets strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in video direction, filmmaking or commercial production.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, visual storytelling and current video trends.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple productions and meet tight deadlines.
