Technical Specialist – GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion)

About the role

The Technical Specialist – GEDSI will provide technical leadership to ensure gender equality, disability and social inclusion are fully integrated into project design, implementation and monitoring. You will work closely with project teams, partners and donors to deliver high‑quality, impact‑driven interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Support overall project implementation while guaranteeing GEDSI integration across all activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project staff, ensuring a transformative GEDSI approach.
• Lead GEDSI‑targeted interventions, conduct research and assessments, and translate findings into actionable project improvements.
• Design and deliver capacity‑building workshops for project teams, community facilitators and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong networks with government agencies, NGOs, CBOs, women‑led groups and farmer associations.
• Ensure compliance with donor and World Vision GEDSI reporting requirements.
• Document best practices and lessons learned, and disseminate knowledge to donors and partners.
• Prepare timely monthly and quarterly progress reports, supporting evidence‑based mid‑year and annual reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Human Rights, Development Studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the development sector with hands‑on experience in gender equality, disability and social inclusion.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in designing and implementing GEDSI‑focused activities and trainings.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and to produce high‑quality reports.
