Senior Software Engineer – WordPress & Laravel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in WordPress and Laravel, plus knowledge of React and HubSpot integrations. The role involves developing scalable, secure, high‑performance web applications and integrations within a client‑facing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, custom functionality, and Laravel applications.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, third‑party services, and HubSpot CRM/CMS solutions.
• Develop responsive UI components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Work with MySQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement secure, maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools and review AI‑generated code for quality and security.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with WordPress, PHP, and Laravel.
• Experience developing WordPress themes, plugins, custom functionality, and Laravel applications.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM/CMS, APIs, and marketing integrations.
• Working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with MySQL, REST APIs, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Understanding of web security, performance optimization, responsive design, and SEO.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and guide other developers.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development, prompt engineering, or agentic coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
