Senior Software Architect – Java & Microservices

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of high‑quality, scalable solutions for our Colombo‑based ATC team. The role focuses on Java‑centric applications, micro‑services and cloud platforms, ensuring that architectural decisions align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define high‑level architecture for new and existing software applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Lead architectural reviews, enforce best practices and guide implementation.
• Mentor development teams on architectural patterns and standards.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to improve software delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong background in Java programming and related frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservices and cloud environments.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
