Senior Quantity Surveyor – Building Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction client. The professional will prepare and review Bills of Quantities, produce cost estimates and monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for new and existing projects.
• Develop cost estimates, cost plans and budget forecasts.
• Track project expenditures, prepare cost reports and certify progress payments.
• Support cost planning activities and advise project teams on cost‑effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and external stakeholders to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work.
• Assist in tender evaluation, risk assessment and continuous improvement of cost‑management processes.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration.
• Experience in progress payment certification and cost control.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, WinQS, or similar).
