Semi‑Senior Accountant – UK Accounts

About the role

We are looking for a semi‑senior accountant to manage UK corporate and high‑value client accounts from our Mount Lavania office, working UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK corporate and high‑value client accounts.
• Handle end‑to‑end bookkeeping using Xero.
• Prepare and file UK VAT, personal tax and corporate tax returns.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Work directly with the UK team while maintaining client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of current hands‑on experience in a UK accountancy firm or practice.
• Currently handling UK clients.
• At least 2 years preparing and filing UK VAT, personal and corporate tax returns.
• Experience managing large corporate accounts and UK personal accounts.
• ACCA part‑qualified or studying towards ACCA preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Candidates from large BPO/shared‑service environments without direct UK firm experience will not be shortlisted.
