People & Culture Business Partnering Lead

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partnering Lead will head the Business Partnering function for Superloop Sri Lanka, delivering people strategies that drive growth, organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the role blends strategic insight with operational execution across workforce planning, talent management and change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Business Partnering team, setting standards, priorities and service expectations.
• Partner with senior business leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, succession and talent strategy.
• Coach leaders on people management, performance leadership and decision‑making, and drive leadership development programmes.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, investigations, grievances and compliance with employment legislation.
• Lead people aspects of organisational change, restructures and transformation programmes, applying practical change‑management approaches.
• Drive enterprise‑wide People & Culture initiatives such as talent management, employee engagement, performance and reward, inclusion and culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Behavioral Science, Law or related field.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR Business Partner or Business Partnering Lead role.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and people‑risk management.
• Experience leading organisational change, transformation initiatives and coaching HR professionals.
