Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will lead daily operations at the Stairway Rooftop bar, Lighthouse Garden café and other F&B outlets at Lighthouse Ahangama. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures consistent service standards, manages staff scheduling and supervises floor service to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the Stairway Rooftop bar, Lighthouse Garden café and other food‑and‑beverage areas.
• Maintain consistent service standards and monitor food and drink quality.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, supervise floor operations during service, and support opening and closing duties.
• Guide team members on service procedures and handle guest inquiries and feedback.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to implement menu concepts and manage inventory and ordering.
• Uphold hygiene, safety and food‑safety standards throughout all outlets.
• Train, mentor and motivate staff to build a guest‑focused team.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, shift management and staff coaching.
• Expertise in service standards and food service, with the ability to maintain quality, consistency and cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to handle busy service periods, multitask and resolve issues calmly.
• Previous experience in food‑and‑beverage supervision or hospitality operations is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of bar and café operations, basic inventory control and food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills and familiarity with local culture are assets.
